About Us
Control and Mechatronics Engineering Department (CMED) is a department in this region which combines teaching and research in the field of control, instrumentation, mechatronics and robotics engineering. This department conduct a number of teaching and researches activities in several specialized fields.
In conjunction with the current research needs, CMED has focused in many multi-discipline research in control and mechatronics areas. It is including smart sensors and actuators, tomography process, intelligent machine, algorithms for advanced and intelligent control, process control, real time control system, control and design of intelligent robot, control and modelling of mechatronics system, industrial automation, and nano-technology based robotic.
Hence, CMED is continuously conducting several short courses, trainings, seminars and talks that could benefits lecturers, UTM staffs, students as well as the societies.Routine talks/seminar may be given from the lecturers or postgraduate students, while special talks/short courses are given from professors, industry personnels, and volunteers and other speakers including department/faculty visitors.
